The knitted vest, once neglected by designers, has become an indispensable component of the modern look. Such an item of clothing is suitable for both office everyday life and for a romantic evening.
It is necessary
- - Yarn;
- - knitting needles number 3.
Instructions
Step 1
Start knitting the vest from the back. The given method is designed for size S, if you need a larger size, then for each increase the number of loops by 10. Cast on 87 loops, tie 4 cm with an elastic band, alternating two front loops with two purl to the end of the row. In the next (fifth) row, sew 15 purl stitches. Further to the end of the row, alternate 2 loops, knitted together with the purl, with 1 yarn and 25 loops of the purl. Complete the row with 15 purl stitches.
Step 2
Thus, you have placed on the knitting needles areas for knitting diamonds. Then, at the same time, add 1 loop in every eighth row after the edging. Do the increments seven times on both sides. This makes 101 stitches. To form a pattern of rhombuses in the first row, knit 10 purl loops, then knit 2 together and sew 11 purl loops. Repeat this combination to the end of the row.
Step 3
Tie the next and all purl rows according to the pattern. Knit the third row from the beginning of the formation of the rhombuses as the first, but instead of 10 purl loops, knit 9. So with each row, continue to reduce the number of purl loops before and after the rhombus by 1 loop and increase by 2 loops those inside the rhombus.
Step 4
Continue knitting until row 23. Then start adding 1 purl on both sides of the rhombus and subtract 2 sts inside the rhombus. In row 39, knit 10 purl stitches, yarn over, and then purl 3 stitches together. Repeat yarn over and purl 10 stitches. Repeat diamonds from rows 1 to 40.
Step 5
After 24 cm from the elastic, begin to form the armholes. To do this, close 5 loops on both sides. Then bind off 3 stitches once and 2 stitches each in every second row. Finally bind off 1 stitch twice. To cut the neckline, after 16 cm from the beginning of the formation of the armholes, close the 21st central loop. On either side of them, bind off 5 loops three times, then 2 and 3 loops each time. At a height of 49 cm, close 8 loops for each shoulder and finish knitting.
Step 6
Tie in front of the back in the same way. But at a height of 28 cm from the typesetting edge, close 6, 4 and 2 loops for the armholes once. After 11 cm from the beginning of the formation of the armholes, close the 27 central loops. On both sides, bind off 5, 4, 3 sts once and bind off 2 and 1 sts twice. Sew one shoulder when assembling. Cast on 158 stitches around the edge of the neckline and complete 4 rows with an elastic band. Close your shoulder. Tie the armholes with an elastic band in 4 rows. Sew side seams.
