Sometimes, in emergency situations, it is necessary to use a battery to supply current, for example, when the mains voltage has disappeared. There are several ways to make a quick battery from available tools. One of these devices already has an initial charge.
It is necessary
- Fruits (apples, lemons, oranges).
- Nails.
- Wires (wires with a clip are better - they are more convenient to fasten).
- Acetic or citric acid.
- Electrodes (2 metal pins, one copper, the other iron).
- Glass jar.
Instructions
Step 1
Take 5 lemons (preferably unripe). Wash and dry them. Stick two nails into each of the lemons from opposite sides.
Step 2
Next, connect them together with wires. The connection must be consistent. Attach a wire to one of the nails of the first lemon, which you then attach to the nail of the second lemon. The next wire is attached to the other nail of the second lemon and to one of the nails of the third. Etc.
Step 3
Wires are also attached to the two outer nails of the first and fifth lemon, with which you can then charge the fruit battery, as well as supply current to electrical appliances.
Step 4
Pour acetic acid or citric acid into a jar. Connect two pins to the wires, copper and iron, these will be the electrodes. One wire connects to one electrode. Secure the electrodes in the plastic cover. Dip the electrodes in acid.
