If it is difficult to find the right fastener for your garment or fabric, try using fabric-covered buttons. They are always harmonious and invisible on clothes, practically make up a single whole with it. In addition, a fabric-covered button can be a real highlight if you embroider a pattern on it with beads or, for example, sew on sequins.

Instructions
Step 1
Choose the right button of the required diameter, preferably on the leg. It is best if the outer surface is smooth, without patterns and bumps.
Step 2
Place the button on a piece of fabric and draw a circle that is twice the diameter of the button. If the fabric is not loose, you can leave only a few millimeters on the fold, and it is better to burn the edges of loose fabric a little with a match. In order to sew a lot of buttons, it is better to make a stencil out of paper and cut the fabric along it.
Step 3
Place the fabric against the front of the button and measure the resulting surface. Perhaps the result will be better if you put a little cotton wool or padding polyester or shape with a cardboard circle.
Step 4
Take a needle and thread and sew a circle of fabric around the perimeter, 2-3 mm from the edge. Please note that if tightened too much, some delicate fabrics may simply fall apart into separate threads, and the work will have to start over. Always cut and sew with a margin when working with these fabrics.
Step 5
If you are sewing a button with holes, immediately think about how it will be sewn on to your clothes in the future. Perhaps you will be satisfied with the option of sewing through the casing, or maybe you will in advance (already at this stage) thread a fairly thick short thread through the holes and bring the ends to the inner side of the button.
Step 6
Pull the thread slightly and put the button inside. Pull the thread as tight as possible. Intercept the opposite ends of the fabric with several stitches and tighten the knot. If the work is neat enough, you can sew a button to the product like this.
Step 7
Sew a lining to make the button more beautiful. To do this, from the same or a different fabric, cut out a circle of exactly the same diameter as the button.
Step 8
Attach it from the inside, bend the edge 2-3 mm and very carefully, with blind stitches, sew to the button. Please note that you will have to sew such a button to the clothes at random, since in order to stretch the thread through the leg, you will have to pierce the lining through.
