Sculpting from plaster is interesting and exciting. You can sculpt anything from doll heads to interior decorations. This activity is for both adults and children. And this is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. In any case, almost anyone can make simple fruit collages and wreaths.

Step 1
Method number 1. In just a quarter of an hour, you can make a wall plate decorated with a floral pattern. For this purpose, take a postcard with a picture of flowers. Cut the flowers with scissors along the contour and wet the cut out picture, then put it on the bottom of a medium-sized saucer face down. The whole flat part of the saucer or plate should be filled with flowers. Now dilute the plaster of Paris and fill the plate with a 1-1.5 cm layer to achieve a correct circle. Before the plaster has time to harden, insert a rope loop so that the finished product can be used as a wall decoration. After the plaster has hardened well, carefully peel off the resulting impression. Trim uneven edges with a knife and the product is ready.
Step 2
Method number 2. Make suitable molds out of plasticine. If the relief of the plasticine sketch has complex outlines that involve a large number of protruding elements, then make a prefabricated mold from several parts, which will facilitate the process of removing the mold from the finished gypsum product. In order to do this, mentally divide the sketch into separate parts. Then mark the parting line on the plasticine throughout the entire product and press the copper foil plates into the plasticine along it to prevent the parts from sticking together during the gypsum hardening. Use thin foil as you will need to draw a curved path for uneven areas.
Step 3
Then proceed as follows: - Grease the edges of the mold with vegetable oil to facilitate the extraction of the finished plaster product; - Dilute the gypsum to a creamy state; - Fill the mold. Do this very slowly, constantly tapping the form on the table so that the accidentally formed air bubbles rise up; - After the finished product has solidified, remove it from the mold and paint it with watercolors in accordance with the idea; - After two days, cover the product with varnish; - Put the finished fruit in a decorative basket or insert the panel into a frame and decorate the interior.
