The word ἄγγελος (angelos) is translated from the ancient Greek language as "messenger, messenger". Most often they can be seen depicted with snow-white huge wings behind their backs.

Instructions

Step 1

Determine what pose the character will occupy in the drawing. Based on this, draw a wireframe line along the entire body with a pencil. Take 1/8 of the line for drawing the head, the base of which will be a vertically elongated oval. Using horizontal lines, outline the location of the chest, shoulders, hips, waist, feet, knees, legs.

Step 2

Connect the head to the shoulders with the neck lines. Draw the lines of the arms. Remember that normal arms should be as long as mid-thigh. Place each chest at a 45-degree angle to the center line midway between the waist and shoulder lines. Make sure that the shoulders do not come out too flat, and the neck lines are smooth. Get smoothness in all body lines. Don't make your upper torso too narrow.

Step 3

Draw the hands. Compose each of the three parts: shoulder, forearm, hand. Draw these elements in the form of flat ovals. Place your elbows at waist level and your fingertips at your mid-thigh. The arm should not come out straight. Make the transitions from one part to another gradual and smoother. Closer to the elbow, the arm should taper, and in the place of the bicep, it should expand.

Step 4

When drawing the legs, use the same rules as when writing the hands. Try to avoid straight lines in order to achieve bumpy transitions. The top of the legs should be thicker and rounder than the bottom. When drawing the thighs, gently taper the lines towards the knee. Make the lower leg muscles protrude slightly to the side.

Step 5

Draw the head. Outline the ears, write the eyes, eyebrows, mouth, nose. Draw ovals behind the angel's back, the size of which will depend on the wingspan. Draw the wings, make them already towards the bottom. Erase the lower parts of the ovals and add feather texture to the remaining lines.
