A fairy-tale princess or a real future queen, a girl with peaches, a peasant girl with a basket … In every face captured in the portrait, through the childish spontaneity, the female beauty is visible, which the artist was able to discern. And even now, when photographic equipment becomes more and more accessible, a painted portrait is fraught with a special charm. A portrait of a girl can be painted using any technique. For example, with a pencil.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - simple pencils T and 2-3M.
Instructions
Step 1
You've probably noticed that the proportions of a child's face are somewhat different from that of an adult. And even if the daughter is very similar to her mother, the baby's face will be a little more rounded, and the eyes will be slightly larger in relation to the size of the face. Take a close look at this face and try to determine the ratio of its height to width.
Step 2
Start drawing with a hard pencil. You will have to remove some lines later or hide them under shading. Draw a vertical line. It will run through the middle of the forehead, bridge of the nose, nasolabial fold, mouth and chin. The face should be symmetrical. Mark the approximate head height on this line.
Step 3
Divide the line into 6 or 7 equal segments, depending on the girl's age. A teenager will have 7 parts, a preschool girl - 6. The lower lip will be at the level of the second auxiliary line from below, the tip of the nose - on the second, the line of the eyes - on the third. The widest part of the face will be about or slightly below the eye line. Mark along this line equal distances to either side of the centerline.
Step 4
Draw an oval with a thin pencil. Sketch the hairline. Determine the ratio of the width of the nose to the width of the face at the top and at the level of the nostrils. Set aside the appropriate distances from the centerline. It is very tempting to use a ruler, but you should not do this when drawing.
Step 5
From the axial, set aside the distances to the inner corners of the eyes, and then to the outer ones. Determine the height of the eyes in relation to their width. Sketch out the eyes, eyelids, and eyebrows. Draw the nose with thin lines. Do all this with a hard pencil.
Step 6
In the same way as you did when constructing the nose and eyes, mark with dots the length of the lips to one side and the other. Draw the mouth. Apply folds. For example, if a girl smiles, wrinkles form around her lips and eyes. Draw the teeth.
Step 7
Draw the girl's hairstyle. You have already outlined the outline of the hairstyle, it remains only to draw the hair with long strokes. The strokes should lie in the direction of hair growth.
Step 8
Draw the neck and shoulders. A child's neck looks somewhat shorter than that of an adult when compared to the width of the face.
Step 9
Draw the neck and shoulders. A child's neck looks somewhat shorter than that of an adult when compared to the width of the face. Complete the drawing with dress folds, neckline, etc.
