It is necessary

  • - tires,
  • - donor car,
  • - shock absorbers,
  • - steel pipes of various sizes,
  • - a set of power tools,
  • - paint for metal,
  • - welding machine.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary components of the buggy in advance. Knowing that you will have to carry out welding work, take care of studying this kind of action in advance or invite a specialist for this.

Step 2

Decide on the model of the buggy and choose the right drawing for your idea. Make a steel frame from metal tubes according to the drawing. To do this, it is necessary to cut the pipes according to the specified dimensions and weld them into a single large structure. Disassemble the donor car.

Step 3

Take accurate measurements of the attachment points of the power unit, as well as the gearbox. To do this, it is advisable to use cardboard to make a template. Transfer the cardboard template to the welded structure of the buggy frame. Then mark all attachment points for the attachment.

Step 4

Weld metal platforms in the marking points and drill special technological holes for fastening all parts. Install the gearbox and engine to the frame.

Step 5

Move the control of the buggy forward to the driver's seat. Here it is necessary to fix the gear levers and the pedal assembly, exactly adjust them to fit. Weld the controls. Secure them using bolts and nuts.

Step 6

Install special cotter pins that will prevent the parts from unwinding on their own when traffic is moving.

Transfer the steering gear from the prepared donor vehicle to your welded frame. Mark all attachment points and fit the steering column onto the buggy.

Step 7

Install the driver's seat and adjust it to your height, secure with welding and bolts.

Install shock absorbers and wheels, then a gas tank, headlights and other devices that monitor engine temperature and engine speed.

Step 8

Paint the frame of the buggy using any spray paint. Refuel the car with all the necessary fluids (oil, gasoline, antifreeze). You can go out in your homemade car.
