Glowing dust in the world of Minecraft is a very rare and valuable resource. It is obtained from blocks of lightstone, which can be found in the dangers of the Downworld, or obtained by killing witches that can be found in the swamps.
Instructions
Step 1
If you need a lot of light dust, you better go to the Nether, there are enough light stones from which this substance is obtained.
Step 2
The thing is that when a block of a glowing stone is destroyed with an ordinary pickaxe without the “silk touch” enchantment, it breaks up into several heaps of light dust (from one to three). At the same time, to restore the block of the glowing stone, which is needed to create the lamp, you need to add together four units of light dust in the crafting window in a square. In addition to creating light stones, this dust is needed to improve potions. It enhances the effect of any potion, decreasing its duration.
Step 3
Lightstones from which glow dust is mined can only be found in the Downworld. Usually, the veins of this mineral are located at the very ceiling of the huge caves that make up this space.
Step 4
You need to understand that almost the entire "floor" of the Lower World is flooded with huge lava lakes, so you shouldn't climb behind the lightstone without the necessary equipment.
Step 5
First of all, you should get an enchanted apple or a potion of fire resistance. The first can be made from a regular apple and eight gold blocks, the second can be cooked on a special cooking stand. Despite the fact that gold is a rare resource, it is better and easier to make an enchanted apple, since potion making requires even rarer resources, for example, fire rods, which are mined in the same Nether World. The enchanted apple needs to be placed on the quick access bar, as it needs to be eaten as quickly as possible when falling into lava. It allows you to quickly regenerate health and imposes a five-minute fire resistance effect.
Step 6
You need to bring a weapon with you to the Lower World, preferably a bow, and a lot of consumables. You will need them to create designs that will bring you closer to the bunch of lightstone.
Step 7
After going through the portal to the Nether World (it can be built from obsidian), look around. Most likely there is a vein of lightstone somewhere above your head. It is easily recognizable by its characteristic glow and light color of the blocks.
Step 8
Take a look around. If a zombie pigman (pink-green creature) is jumping next to you, do not touch it. He will never attack first, but if you kill him, all the surrounding zombies will avenge him. Huge ghast cubes, which can shoot fireballs, pose a great danger. If there is a ghast near you, shoot it.
Step 9
Only after that, start building a high column to get to the lightstone. Having climbed to the desired level, build a flat area so that you don't lose valuable light dust when you destroy blocks. Do not encroach on several veins of this mineral at once, it is better to return to the ordinary world through the portal and leave the loot there, since the probability of death in the Lower World is extremely high.
