We are always in a hurry somewhere, in a hurry, creating and will certainly get tired of such a frantic rhythm. Returning home, I so want to put my head on something gentle and soft. And then the pillow comes to mind. This is an irreplaceable thing - you can sleep on it, you can throw it at a bachelorette party, it can decorate the house as a highlight in the interior, even wedding rings are brought on it! The choice in stores is huge, with all that, a charming pillow can be sewn on your own.

It is necessary

Fabrics of different textures - gabardine, chiffon, satin, satin, brocade, etc. a sewing machine, threads, scissors, tailor's crayons, a ruler, decorative braid, ribbons, beads, flowers, brooches - everything that can be used to decorate a pillow. You will also need a synthetic winterizer filler and dry rose petals (a variant of a pillow for wedding rings), as well as imagination and sewing skills of the school curriculum

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the fabric, iron it, fold it in half and place it on a flat surface (a table will do) with the wrong side facing you. Using a ruler and crayons, draw two rectangles or squares of the size you want. From an opaque fabric such as gabardine or printed silk, cut a 30x30 cm square. From a sheer chiffon fabric, cut a smaller square, say 25x25 centimeters.

Step 2

Now sew on a typewriter a large square around the perimeter, leaving a gap of 4 centimeters on one side. Turn the resulting square onto the right side of the fabric. Cut the padding polyester into medium-sized pieces, then stuff the pillow with them. Using neat stitches with fabric-colored threads, baste the remaining hole, hiding the edges of the fabric inward. This can be done by hand or sewn on a typewriter, stepping back 1 mm from the edge so that the seam is not very noticeable.

Step 3

Take the cut pieces from the transparent material and sew them in the same way as the resulting larger pillow. The difference at this stage is that the edges of the fabric must be overlocked or seamed with a zigzag seam, because the fabric glows and the inner seams will be noticeable. Gently stuff your pillow with rose petals or other flowers.

Step 4

Using a decorative ribbon one and a half meters long, fasten a flower or a brooch in the center. Fold both pillows, place a flower in the middle of the upper transparent pillow, tie a ribbon around the pillows on one side, tying and crossing the ends under the lower pillow, stretch the ribbon on the two remaining sides and fasten the ends with a knot at the base of the flower. If the ends of the braid or ribbon fall off, you can gently singe them or attach decorative beads to the ends. Wedding rings are located on the flower petals. So, your adorable pillow is ready!
