It is necessary

  • For the Fan pillow:
  • - Smooth (printed fabric) cream color;
  • - gray-brown fabric;
  • - padding made of synthetic winterizer;
  • - beads;
  • - silk threads for embroidery;
  • - lace length 365.6 cm
  • For the pillow "Heart":
  • - fabric for the base;
  • - scraps of cotton fabric of cream and gray-brown tones;
  • - lining;
  • - synthetic winterizer;
  • - silk threads for embroidery;
  • - beads;
  • - lace length 297 cm

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare 6 templates for the Fan pillow of size 35, 6 * 40, 6 cm. Cut out parts from A to F (6 varieties) from a smooth or printed fabric in cream and gray-brown tones in sizes 12, 7 * 22, 9 cm; detail G (14 * 12.7 cm); detail H (20, 3 * 45, 7). Cut out all the elements of the product with a seam allowance of 0.6 cm.

Step 2

Sew the wedges sequentially with each other according to the scheme: A with B with C, etc. Smooth in the direction of the arrows. Next, sew part G onto the block that was stitched out of the wedges. Attach part H. to this block from above.

Step 3

Embroider the assembled fan using the following decorative stitches: stalked, satin stitch, straight stitches with interception, overcast, buttonhole, with twisted (French) knots and herringbone.

Step 4

Sew a bead to each herringbone stitch. Use a 30.5 x 40.6 cm patch to make a lining. Fold the lining and the gathered patchwork top of the pillow right sides and sew along the edge with an allowance of 0.6 cm. Leave a gap of 7.6 cm unstitched.

Step 5

Trim the lining and turn the stitching right out. Fill the pillow with padding polyester and sew the hole. Sew on the lace.

Step 6

The pillow "Heart" has a size including lace 30.5 x 40.6 cm. Sew the base - 30.5 * 38.1 cm. Cover the fabric base with shreds using the patchwork mosaic method.

Step 7

Make a pattern in the shape of a heart, align the mosaic piece with it. Decorate the mosaic top of the pillow using the following stitches: stalk, needle stitch, overlock, pestle, goat, herringbone, Cretan, daisy, chain stitch, satin stitch, closed overlock.

Step 8

A branch is embroidered with a stalk stitch and filled with stitches of a chain stitch; the berries are made with colonial and twisted (French) knots; snowflakes are embroidered with straight stitches, intercepted in the center with oblique stitches and twisted (French) knots. Fold the embroidered top with lining right side in.

Step 9

Sew around the edge with a seam allowance of 0.6 cm. Leave an open gap of 7.6 cm. Turn the work over to the right side and iron the edges slightly to sharpen the outline. Fill the pillow evenly with padding polyester. Turning the edges of the unstitched section inward by 0.6 cm, sew with small stitches.

Step 10

Tie a knot on the thread to match the lace. After making a stitch at a distance of 1, 3 cm from where sewing begins. Sew on the lace. Drag the knot inside the pillow.

Gathering 1, 3 cm of lace on the needle, stick it into the edge of the pillow at a distance of 1 cm from the point on the edge where the thread is. Pull out the thread. This way, the sewn lace will tangle up. Continue working in a circle, overlap the ends of the lace and sew carefully.
