Biography

Arsenie Todirash was born on July 22, 1983 in the Moldovan capital Chisinau. Already in childhood, he began to get involved in singing, and in his school years he began to write music. Soon Arseny became a member of the folk group Stejareii. The collective gained fame in its native country and toured it for some time. During this period, Todirash already became a student of the Chisinau Conservatory, where he studied piano and professional vocals.

At the age of 18, the aspiring singer saw a casting announcement for the role of a performer in the youth group O-Zone, founded by young artist and producer Dan Balan. The latter initially wanted to create a duet. Arsenie Todirash made an excellent impression and became one of the main candidates for the new artist of the group, but another member of Radu Sirbu made him decent competition. As a result, Balan decided to take both boys into the team.

Creation

The trio began to actively write songs for their first joint album, which was released in 2002 and was named "Number 1". The title single from it "Dragostea Din Tei" gained incredible popularity all over the world, and its sales amounted to millions of discs. The band also shot a video that only enhanced the effect of this song with simple words and a simple melody. In the future, the famous group released several more singles and went on a world tour.

In 2005, a conflict arises in the collective over the size of the concert fees. Dan Balan did not agree to the conditions put forward by the partners and terminated the contract with them. So the group O-Zone broke up at the peak of its popularity. Arseniy Todirash embarked on a solo career and in 2006 released the album "The 33rd Element" under the pseudonym Arsenium. The singer also took part in recording songs with various European performers, including the Russian singer Sati Kazanova. Their composition "Until Dawn" became quite successful.

Personal life

Arseny Todirash is still not married and has no children. In various interviews, he has repeatedly admitted that he dreams of family life, but has not yet met the one with whom he could really achieve what he wanted. His numerous novels did not last long. According to Todirasha, in girls he pays attention to the mind, the presence of common interests and outlook on life.

Recently, Arseny settled past conflicts with other members of the O-Zone group, and the team periodically gets together again, giving concerts in different parts of the world. According to the singer, the work of O-Zone is still loved and remembered, always actively singing along with the performers.
