Boys have always wanted to become pirates, but after the release of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" girls have joined them. The costume of a pirate, sea robber is simple to perform - the most important thing is to show the character of your character, so use your acting skills!

Step 1
Check out Pirates of the Caribbean for some inspiration and ideas. The pirate costume can be made from old clothes, only slightly alter it, giving the flavor of a sea tramp.
Take old worn or just leaky jeans, cut below the knee, you can, and even need to, unevenly. Shred the edge and make a few additional holes, sew on colorful patches (not on the holes, of course) with coarse stitches with thick thread of a contrasting color.
Step 2
Find a vest that you will not mind getting dirty and torn in several places. If there is no vest, then any old shirt and even mom's blouse will do, and the more luxuriant, the better!
Build a sash from a piece of bright, shiny fabric; satin works well. If you can't find a vest, then quickly sew it from pieces of leather or other material - just circle the approximate contours of the vest for a piece of suitable size. Sew it with coarse stitches and decorate with patches and colorful spots.
Step 3
If you intend to sew a costume for a richer pirate, you will have to say goodbye to the old velvet dress - from it you will cut out both the breeches and the pirate's vest. Trim these items with gold braid or cord and luxurious shiny buttons. A blouse with wide sleeves, a frill collar and ruffles on the cuff is more suitable for such an outfit.
Tie a colorful scarf around your neck and a bandana with skulls around your head. You can put on a chain of coins over the belt-sash.
Step 4
Wear striped or black leggings, knee socks, or stockings. Shoes can range from rough shoes to high boots. Decorate the shoes with wide, shiny buckles.
Do not forget about the characteristic details of the pirate costume - tuck any toy weapons you find into your belt. Pour tea into a small bottle and label it with the words "Rum". Can be attached to the shoulder of a toy parrot.
Place a large hoop earring or clip on one ear. Wear a black eye patch. Don't be shy with your makeup - your pirate needs to be expressive, so paint a mustache, goatee, frowning eyebrows, and eyeliner! You can also add a bruise for extra chic. Apply a transfer tattoo with a suitable theme to the free areas of the body.
