In the fifth part of the famous series of games The Elder Scrolls called Skyrim, an important element of the gameplay is enchantment, that is, giving certain objects magical properties. As a "consumable", "soul stones" are usually used here, which disappear after use, but the player can also get an infinite "soul stone" - the Star of Azura.
Enchanting in Skyrim
Sooner or later, almost any player in Skyrim begins to think about how to master the enchantment skill, as this will allow him to enchant weapons, armor and jewelry on his own, and not look for the desired option in all stores on the continent. For any enchantment, you need the enchanted item itself, the Altar of Enchantment, as well as a "charged" soul stone.
Empty Soul Gems can be purchased from Skyrim magic merchants or found in treasures. To charge such a stone, you need to "kidnap" the soul of the creature in one way or another. To do this, cast the "Soul Capture" spell on him and kill him. Another option is to kill the creature with an enchanted weapon capable of stealing souls. Souls come in different sizes: from tiny to great, and the larger the soul, the more expensive and rare a soul stone is needed for it. Naturally, the strength of the enchantment also depends on the size of the soul.
Azura's Star
Azura's Star is a legendary Daedric artifact that is an infinite soul gem that can contain a soul of any size. Unlike ordinary "disposable" soul gems, Azura's Star does not disappear after being enchanted, but only empties. This allows the player not to clutter up their inventory with many soul gems, limiting themselves to one Azura Star. You can get it by completing the "Black Star" quest. Depending on what choice you make during the quest, you will have either the "classic" Star of Azura, or the Black Star. The difference between these two artifacts is that the ordinary Star of Azura is capable of absorbing only the so-called "white" souls belonging to non-sentient beings, while the Black Star is intended only for the souls of people and representatives of other sentient races. The advantage of the Black Star is that any human soul is great, so it will be easier to enchant items.
In order to use the Azura Star or the Black Star, it must be placed in inventory. Naturally, the artifact must be empty. After killing an unreasonable or reasonable (depending on which star you have chosen) creature on which the Soul Capture effect was applied, you will trap its soul in stone. Keep in mind that the soul is automatically placed in the most suitable stone for it, so if you have other empty soul stones in your inventory, it is quite possible that the captured soul will go there, especially if it is small in size.
The charged Azura Star must be placed in a special slot on the pentagram of souls. After the item is enchanted, the Star will again be in your inventory. In addition, Azura's Star can be used to recharge magic weapons. To do this, select the weapon that you want to reload in your inventory, press the T key and specify the Star of Azura as the source of charge.
