The second cooking method. Take a small saucepan and pour a liter of water into it. Put on fire and bring to a boil, add four tablespoons of pearl barley. After fifteen minutes, reduce heat to low and cook for forty minutes, stirring constantly. Then remove the saucepan from the heat and cover with a lid, soak for five hours. Then drain the remaining water through a colander and fold the finished barley into a jar or plastic bag. Already on a fishing trip, you should add three drops of anise, a head of garlic or a couple of pinches of ground hemp seeds to the pearl barley.
