Instructions
Step 1
Tune in with the music. Because minimal - music for an amateur, so as not to dance to, you must be a fan of this direction. A feature of the minimal is not only simple, ascetic sounds, but also a large number of pauses. Often, musical compositions are built on implicit, almost imperceptible to the human ear, changes in the sound space.
Step 2
Improvise. There is no clear set of movements typical for this direction, just as there are no canons of this dance. Let your body relax and try to move to the beat of the music. Start with small shaking of the body, head. Movements should be easy, a little imposing.
Step 3
Throw your arms out in different directions. At the same time, it is imperative to be in time with the melody and do it smoothly, excluding sharp, sloppy waves. Do not be afraid to be liberated. Don't worry about your movements, just immerse yourself in the music.
Step 4
Forget that the movements must be performed in a strictly defined order. There is no such thing in this dance. Perform simple walking in place, uncomplicated steps. But basically your dance will be built on the measured body swaying.
Step 5
Bring any techno, house, hip-hop or jazz movement you know into your dance. Adjust them to minimalist music, excluding all fast complex elements, indulge in improvisation, and now you are already dancing to minimal.
