Strictly speaking, it is impossible to call painted poker one of the types of poker - this gambling game of cards is a unique combination of “thousand” and “preference”. And its name comes from the rules: one of the players during the game draws tricks, as well as the points scored by the players.

It is necessary

  • - deck of cards;
  • - paper;
  • - a pen;
  • - from 2 to 6 players.

Instructions

Step 1

To play Painted Poker, you need a standard deck of 36 cards or 54 cards. In the first case, the players choose the joker in advance - as a rule, the lowest card - for example, six or seven of spades. In the second case, 2 jokers are used. In addition, you should prepare a sheet of paper in advance and draw a table on it, in which you will need to enter the points scored by the players during the round.

Step 2

Before the start of the game, the dealer is determined - the dealer, who in turn changes clockwise. Then the first round begins and one card is dealt to all participants. In the second round, two cards are already dealt, in the third - three, in the fourth - four, etc., incrementally, depending on the number of players. After that, the cards are dealt in the reverse order, i.e. descending - four, three, two and one.

Step 3

In painted poker, all card values are the same as in any other game. The highest is ace, the lowest is 6. The trump card beats any card, and the joker is the trump card. The main thing is that the participants match the suit. For example, if a player entered from a dozen of diamonds, then you should also go with a tambourine - fold or beat. If there is no card of this suit, you should trump. And only if there is neither a tambourine nor a trump card, it is allowed to put any.

Step 4

By evaluating their cards, participants determine how many bribes they can order. The largest number of bribes that can be ordered cannot exceed the number of cards in hand. When ordering bribes, the first amount belongs to the player who sits to the left of the dealer (dealer).

Step 5

In scheduled poker, points are distributed according to the number of tricks the player has collected. If a participant ordered a certain number of bribes and took the same amount, he receives ten points for each of them. When bribing bribes, the player is awarded one point for each. In case of a shortfall, ten points are deducted for each uncollected bribe. If a player did not order a single bribe during the auction, that is, he “passed” and made a “pass”, he is awarded five points.

Step 6

In scheduled poker, the winner is the first player to collect the set number of points. As you can see, painted poker is an interesting, uncomplicated and gambling game. It makes it possible to while away the time in the company of friends for a party or two. The cards are in your hands!
