Delightful pictures of rhinestones are offered by many online stores, demanding a lot of money for their goods. But if you have imagination, a little ingenuity and a desire not only to save money, but also to surprise others with your skill, then you yourself can make such beauty with your own hands.

It is necessary

  • - Glass with a frame;
  • - rhinestones or Swarovski crystals (rhinestones are a more economical option);
  • - glue "Moment-Crystal";
  • - printout of the picture you like;
  • - a toothpick;
  • - masking tape;
  • - tweezers;
  • - glass cleaner;
  • - napkin.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose a picture from rhinestones. They can be found on the internet. Save it on your computer. Use an image viewer to open the picture. If there is a color inversion function, use it or enlarge the design so that you can see each rhinestone. Print it out.

Step 2

Remove the glass carefully from the frame. It is best to do this operation with cotton gloves so as not to accidentally cut yourself.

Step 3

Degrease the glass surface by wiping with a window cleaner, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Step 4

Place a drawing under the glass and attach at the corners with masking tape.

Step 5

Using a sharpened wooden stick, gently apply a few drops of Moment-Crystal glue to the glass along the contour of the drawing. Do not apply too much glue, as you will not have time to glue all the rhinestones until the glue dries. Better to apply glue under several rhinestones at a time. Some craftsmen use a homemade tool to apply glue, which is a disposable syringe with a needle broken off at the very base. The syringe is filled with glue.

Step 6

Take a rhinestone with tweezers and gently place it on a drop of Moment-Crystal glue. Do not press too hard so that the glue does not protrude beyond the borders of the rhinestone. If you do not follow this, the work will look untidy as a result.

Step 7

Continue applying glue and rhinestones to the glass until the entire drawing is complete. If the rhinestone is not quite in its specific place, correct it with a toothpick.

Step 8

Let the glue dry for several hours. The work is very painstaking, but the result will please you if you take your time.

Step 9

Prepare your background mat. It can serve as a variety of materials, for example, gabardine. You can also successfully use a sheet of colored cardboard or paper cut to fit the frame as a backing material. You can also use the wallpaper to complement your composition.

Step 10

Remove the template from the glass and insert the finished job into the frame. Pictures look especially impressive on a black background, but you can choose a different color.
