Whatever you collect your video from, it is based on a fairly simple and straightforward action. You need to cut fragments from the original materials and connect them again. Cutting video fragments is more logical in the video editing program that you are used to using. Although even Movie Maker is suitable for this action.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the video you want to cut from in Movie Maker. To do this, left-click on the "Import video" label on the left side of the program window. In the window that opens, select a video file and click on the "Open" button.
Step 2
Drag the video to the timeline. By default, Movie Maker splits the imported video into separate clips, but that's okay. Select all imported clips using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A or the Select All command from the Edit menu. Use the Add to Timeline command from the Clip menu.
Combine the clips on the timeline so you don't get confused in these fragments. To do this, left-click on the first clip on the timeline. Move to the end of the scale and while holding down the Shift key, left-click on the last clip. Use the Combine command from the Clip menu.
Step 3
Find the beginning of the fragment you are going to cut by moving the cursor along the timeline or by starting playback with the button located under the player window on the right side of the program window. Position the cursor at the beginning of the clip and cut the video using the Set Cut Start Point command from the Clip menu. The video segment before this point will be automatically deleted.
Step 4
Find the end of the video you are interested in. Position the cursor at this location and use the Set Editing Editing Point command from the same Clip menu. The video segment following this point is automatically deleted.
Step 5
Save the cut fragment. Click on the arrow to the right of the "Finish movie creation" item on the left side of the program window. In the list that opens, select "Save to computer". Enter the file name and select a location on your computer where the cut video fragment will be saved. Click "Next". Select the options for the file to be saved. Click "Next". Wait until the file is saved.
