It's always nice to have a bunch of fresh flowers in the house, but at some point it will still wither. But there is a way to preserve cut flowers - is to preserve them in glycerin.
Glycerin, getting into the leaves and stems of plants, absorbs their moisture and glycerin replaces the evaporated moisture in the stems and leaves.
Canned plants retain their color gamut, appearance and do not need maintenance.
To preserve the flowers, you need to cut the stem obliquely, remove all unnecessary leaves, clean the stem by 5-10 centimeters so that the solution can freely penetrate the stem.
Next, you need to prepare a container, the flower stems must be lowered a few centimeters for impregnation with glycerin. The solution must be constantly replenished while conservation takes place.
Canning can last from two weeks to several months, it all depends on the size of the flower.
To prepare the solution, you will need glycerin and water. The water must be hot. It is necessary to mix in a ratio of one to two glycerin and water. If you add various dyes to the solution, then the flower will change its color.
