The quilling technique is simple in its essence: all that is required of a person is to twist narrow strips of paper into spirals using an awl and attach them to the canvas in various ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Eye.
Squeeze a long strip of colored paper on both sides and shape it into an eye.
Step 2
Crescent.
You can use the "Eye" shape as a preset. The "eye" needs to be given a more curved shape by pinching the corners with a shift.
Step 3
Square.
You can use the "Eye" shape as a preset. You need to flip it over and re-compress it.
Step 4
A drop.
To get the "Drop" shape, you need to pull the middle of the spiral to one side, and on the other side, you need to squeeze it until you get a sharp end.
Step 5
Triangle.
As a blank, you can use the "Drop" shape by flattening the base.
Step 6
Lamb.
For the correct production of the "Lamb", it is necessary to bend the paper strip in half and twist both ends outward.
Step 7
Heart.
For the correct manufacture of the "Heart" it is necessary to bend the paper strip in half and twist both ends inward.
Step 8
Curl.
To make the Curl correctly, mark the middle of the paper strip and, without bending it, twist one tip clockwise and the other counterclockwise.
