Decorating candles with edible elements will add originality to your festive table, and the whole house a more cozy and warm atmosphere.
1. Candles and cinnamon
The smell of cinnamon invigorates and improves the mood, so I highly advise you to place a few thick candles with cinnamon sticks and light them a couple of hours before the celebration. During this time, the cinnamon will warm up a little and add a unique aroma to your living room. Complete this decor with a bow made of narrow Vologda lace or satin ribbon.

2. Candles and oranges
A few days before the holiday, cut an orange or lemon into thin slices and dry them (it is best to use a vegetable dryer for this). Lemon or orange can and should be combined with cinnamon, cloves, other spices to taste, as well as coffee.
By the way, for small thin candles, oranges or apples can be used as candlesticks. To "serve" the candles on the table in this way, cut small holes for the candles in the fruit, insert the candles, and place the candles and fruit on a tray or platter.
3. Candles and coffee
An interesting and, perhaps, traditional candle decor will turn out if you use coffee beans. The simplest option is to glue the base of the candle with grains (hot wax). You can complement this decor with other edible or inedible elements.
4. Candles and nuts
Nuts, along with tangerines, are another sign of the New Year holidays. Put the candle in a wide glass or glass (first drop a few drops of hot wax into the glass), then pour a few small nuts around the candle (unpeeled hazelnuts are ideal, but walnuts and peanuts are also good).
