A sweet wreath made of marmalade or marshmallow will delight those with a sweet tooth and will be an unusual decoration for any holiday.
packaging of marmalade;
- a box of wooden toothpicks;
- base for a wreath (floral base for a bouquet or a piece of foam);
- beautiful wide ribbon (satin or nylon);
- a piece of silk lace.
When buying marmalade, pay attention that the candies are small, oval, and dense enough.
1. Cut the base for the donut wreath from the foam. It can be convex or flat. Don't worry if you don't get the perfect torus, you can mask the errors in the process of further work.
2. Punish each gummy with a toothpick so that the stick does not penetrate the candy through and through. Stick the marmalade on a toothpick into the base for the wreath. Try to arrange the marmalade as tightly as possible to each other.
Show your imagination, play with the colors of the candies or, if the candies are of the same color, with the sizes - thus create a pattern on the surface of the wreath.
3. If you are going to hang the gummy wreath on the wall or door, tie it with a silk cord so that the cord goes between the toothpicks. Tie a bow from a wide elegant ribbon on top.
In this way, you can make a wreath not only from marmalade, but also dense marshmallow, and indeed any sweets that can be chopped onto toothpicks.
