The Moscow Zoo is one of the largest and most interesting zoos in Russia. It is very easy to get to it: it is located in the very center of Moscow. Anyone can see the animals, there are special benefits for children.

Instructions
Step 1
Decide on what day and what time is the best time to visit the Moscow Zoo for you. Please be aware that it is closed on Monday. In the summer, it is open from 10 am to 8 pm, while the ticket office closes an hour before the closing of the zoo itself. Winter working hours: from 10 am to 6 pm. The difference is due to the fact that in winter the bright day is much shorter, so the animals begin to rest earlier. In addition, it is almost pointless to visit the zoo in the dark: you still won't be able to see anything.
Step 2
The easiest way to get to the Moscow Zoo is by metro. You need "Barrikadnaya" or "Krasnopresnenskaya" station. Barrikadnaya is located on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line (it is marked in crimson on the metro map). Krasnopresnenskaya station lies on the circular line (brown on the map).
Step 3
If you arrived at the Barrikadnaya station, then, following the signs at the metro station, find the exit to Barrikadnaya Street. Make sure you are on the even side. Now follow the direction of increasing the numbering of houses. Soon you will reach an interchange at which the following streets intersect: Barrikadnaya, Bolshaya Gruzinskaya and Krasnaya Presnya. The entrance to the zoo is located right between Bolshaya Gruzinskaya and Krasnaya Presnya.
Step 4
If you decide to get off at the Krasnopresnenskaya station, it will be even easier for you to find the zoo. Exit to Krasnaya Presnya Street, go to the even side and walk a little towards decreasing the numbering of houses. You will find yourself at the intersection described in the previous paragraph.
Step 5
For those who use a navigator, it will be useful to enter the address of the zoo so that it is easy to get to it, wherever you start your walk. The Moscow Zoo is located at the address: Moscow, B. Gruzinskaya, 1.
