The Scream, directed by Wes Craven in 1970, immediately became popular with horror fans. The film was intended for a youth audience, but all four episodes are also enjoyed by adults. And the mask in which the killer chased the heroes of the film became generally cult. Almost no costume party or Halloween is complete without it.
It is necessary
- - plasticine;
- - bandage (simple and elastic);
- - scissors;
- - white construction silicone with a gun;
- - black and red oil paint;
- - 2 plastic cups;
- - brush;
- - black lining fabric (approximately 1.5x0.9 m);
- - latex gloves;
- - soap or shampoo;
- - white threads and a disc with the movie "The Scream".
Instructions
Step 1
Looking at the screen, draw a sketch of the mask on paper. Sculpt a three-dimensional mask from plasticine according to your sketch. The mask should be convex, measuring 30x25 cm, approximately.
Step 2
Cut a regular bandage into 30 cm strips and place them on a plasticine mold. Spray a layer of silicone over the bandages with a gun. The layer should be not thick, 2-3 mm. Smooth it out with a gloved hand. Wait until dry and apply another coat. Dry the mask.
Step 3
Squeeze some silicone into each cup, add some black paint to one glass and some red paint to the other.
Step 4
Using a regular brush, paint over the eyes and mouth of the mask with black silicone, and paint with red silicone strokes that simulate blood on the mask.
Step 5
After the mask is completely dry, remove it from the plasticine blank. Use a knife or scissors to make slits for the eyes and nose (optional).
Step 6
The silicone mask has a pungent odor. To get rid of it, hold the finished mask in soapy water for a day.
Step 7
After complete drying, try on the mask, mark the attachment points of the elastic bandage so that the mask stays on the face. Take a needle with white thread and sew an elastic bandage to the marked places on the right and left.
Sew a cape with a hood from black lining. Put on your mask and cape. Your costume is ready.
