On May 11, 2004, a new show "Dom-2" was released on the screens of the country and began its triumphant march. None of the authors suspected that the project would last for so many years and that its completion, apparently, is still far away.
Ten years at gunpoint
Ten years ago, fifteen people walked into the perimeter to build their love, as well as their dream home, which only one couple will win. The host of the project was at first Dmitry Nagiyev, who held the final of the previous show "House", then they decided to replace him with Ksenia Sobchak and Ksenia Borodina.
Fifteen young participants communicated with each other, built relationships, cursed and every week someone left and a new participant came to his place, who passed the casting sieve. A year later, several permanent pairs formed on the project, and it was decided to postpone the final, since the struggle was interesting and profitable for TNT.
TNT made a lot of money selling the idea of the show to the American company Sony Pictures Television International. This is the first project on Russian television, which has attracted interest abroad, and in addition, entered the Guinness Book of Records for its unique duration.
Over the ten years of its existence, thirteen couples got married, and only five got divorced, nine people were convicted and six died. Famous members continued their careers in television, cinema, business. Victoria Bonya, Alena Vodonaeva, Olga Buzova are hosts of various projects, Olga "Solntse" Nikolaeva promotes her music and has significant awards. Stepan Menshikov, Roman Tretyakov, May Abrikosov, Anastasia Dashko - I will always remember these and other names.
Who owns the show "Dom-2"
The father of the first reality show about relationships, "House", was Valery Komissarov, known in Russia as the host of the program "My Family". At the end of the show, TNT decided to repeat the success with a similar project, so Dom-2 appeared, where not married couples had to fight for a house, but only those that were formed during the project.
In 2009, Comedy Club Production, a multidisciplinary production center, bought all the rights to the Dom-2 project and remains its full owner today. Founded in 2006, it has such projects as Comedy Club, Stand Up, Univer. New hostel "," Sashatanya "," Interns "," The best film "(and all its parts), as well as numerous projects that have outlived their time and for one reason or another stopped their work.
