Sometimes a memorable video upsets the owner not with poor quality and not a cropped picture, but with the fact that the video was recorded in the wrong angle. There is a need to rotate it 90 degrees, and this often causes difficulties for people who do not know what programs to use to rotate the video and save it in a rotated form.
Instructions
Step 1
The first way is to use the Vegas Pro video software. Install this program for yourself and upload the video file that you want to expand into it. Then find the Event Pan / Crop tool in the panel and click on it to open a window where you can expand the recording.
Step 2
Enlarge the video with the mouse scroller. Left-click on the video and, without releasing the key, rotate the video by 90 degrees in the desired direction clockwise or counterclockwise.
Step 3
You can also expand the video in this program by opening the Angle section in the Rotation menu and specifying the desired angle of rotation in the parameters manually. The program itself will show you with a dotted frame which area of the video will be visible after rotation.
Step 4
Rotate the entry and adjust the proportions and dimensions of its window. Align the top and bottom borders by dragging them with the mouse button. To maintain proportions while resizing, stretch or bring the side borders together while holding down the Ctrl key.
Step 5
The second way to rotate a video file is to use Virtual Dub software. The program is free, takes up very little space, and is easy to find on the net, download and install on your computer. Launch Virtual Dub and open the file you want.
Step 6
Then select the Compression section from the Video menu and select the type of compression (for example, DivX). Go to the Audio menu and also open the Compression section, specifying the type of audio compression (MP3).
Step 7
Now in the Video menu, open the Filters section. An empty window will open, in which you need to click the Add button and select Rotate from the list of filters. Specify the degree of rotation (90 clockwise or counterclockwise), and then click OK and save the resulting video file in the desired format.
