Step 1
First, calculate the required number of loops to be cast on the knitting needles. To do this, select a knitting pattern, knit a sample measuring 13 cm by 13 cm (if you want to knit a sleeveless jacket from thin yarn, just dial 50 loops, from the middle one - 40 loops, from the thick one - 30 loops). At the end, close the hinges without tightening them too much.
Step 2
To calculate the loops in the center of the sample, select a 10 cm by 10 cm square and count the number of vertical rows and horizontal loops in it. Now, in order to find out how many loops are in 1 cm, you need to divide the resulting number of loops in a row by 10 cm, and then multiply the resulting number by the required width of the product. The number of loops that you get, type on the knitting needles.
Step 3
To knit the back, dial the loops on the knitting needles and knit to the armhole according to the selected pattern, depending on the required length of the product. In order to get the armhole, close one loop on each side 5-10 times (depending on the size of the sleeveless jacket). Tie to the end and close the loops.
Step 4
Knit the front part to the neck in the same way as the back. Next, to form a "V" -shaped neckline, close the center loop and knit both parts separately, decreasing one loop from the inside on each odd row.
Step 5
Start with the shoulder seams to assemble the product, and then connect the back to the front, starting from the bottom.
Step 6
You can decorate the garment with piping at the armholes and neckline. To do this, dial and knit a 2 cm elastic band 2x2 along the entire length of the armholes, connect the ends. Also do with the cutout.
