Cats have great body capabilities for expressing moods and intentions - these are various postures, demeanor and plasticity of movements. Draw a cat that walks by itself, independent and free, as in the famous cartoon.
It is necessary
- Paper,
- Pencil,
- Watercolor,
- Pastel,
- Helium pen.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your work area and supplies. Start drawing with simple shapes (circle, oval, lines), then smoothly move on to drawing. Take a blank sheet of paper and a pencil, first draw a head in the form of a horizontal oval, draw ears on the head in the form of a triangle. To depict the neck, draw two small vertical stripes about 3 cm, slightly perpendicular to each other. Next, start from the first strip to draw a flexible oval, depict it slightly curved inward. From the end of the body at the top, draw a half-arc tail. Then draw in thin lines two front legs, one curved, as if a cat steps forward. Next, draw the two hind legs, with the right paw slightly raised (fig. 1).
Step 2
On the muzzle in the middle of the oval, draw the cat's nose and forehead. Then you begin to draw the eye in the shape of a triangle at an angle of 30 degrees, the end of the angle being in line with the nose. Draw the cat's smile down to eye level below the nose. Draw the antennae next to the smile. Three antennae are sufficient and should be of medium size (fig. 2).
Step 3
Draw the main details and the cat itself with a hard pencil, make the cat's body from the oval. Erase the extra lines. Give a little liveliness on the face, in front of the body and on the legs, depict the wool going beyond the lines in the form of a zigzag. Finish the shape of the ears, draw a line down the middle of the legs. In front of the eye, depict a slightly raised eyelid in the cat. The pupil should be directed backwards - the cat looks without turning its head (Fig. 3).
Step 4
Paint over the cat with red watercolor paint, leave the eyes white. Let dry for about 10 minutes, then with white pastels, paint on the edges of the face, chest and paws. On the ears on the outside, also add small highlights with pastels. Finish the smallest details, do not forget to add the pupil of the cat. With a black helium pen, circle all the lines, eyes, paws, tail (Fig. 4). The cat is ready!
