The beach season is just around the corner. And in the summer, at the height of a sunny day, a hat is a must for each of us. But what can be used to decorate an ordinary straw or wicker hat? There are many options.

Perhaps the easiest and most common way is to decorate the hat with a flower. You can buy an artificial flower or make your own from fabric. To make the flower detachable, attach a brooch pin to the back of the flower.

The second way "asked for" itself - to decorate the hat with a brooch. The smaller the brooch, the higher you need to attach it so that it is not obscured by the brim of the hat.

The next way is to decorate the hat with a ribbon, braid or lace. In order for the tape to hold, you need to hem it with threads in some places. You can tie a beautiful bow from the ribbon.
Step 4
An unexpected way is to decorate the hat with a strap. If the belt is long, wrap it around the hat several times.

You can also decorate the hat with a decorative cord or thick colored threads. Twist them or braid them. Tie your hat around. Sew in several places with thread.

Decorating the hat with beads. There is a small condition here - the beads must be of the appropriate length. Or, if you don’t feel sorry for them, then you can adjust the length by increasing or decreasing the number of beads.

Even a straw or woven hat can be decorated with a veil and feathers. For the veil, take tulle, collect it on a thread and attach it to the hat along with the feathers.

Scarf decoration. Take a light scarf or shawl, fold it up and wrap your hat. Tie the ends of the scarf at the back.
