Not every plate is made to be just utensils. Paints for painting on glass, together with your imagination and patience, can turn it into a work of art.

Instructions
Step 1
Take a clear glass plate. Before starting work, wash and dry thoroughly.
Step 2
Buy paints for painting on glass and a special outline in a tube designed for the same purpose. Stock up on cotton swabs to gently wipe away excess paint and paper towels to matte the plate if desired. Prepare the paper on which you will try the thickness of the contour line.
Step 3
Turn the plate upside down. Contour the pattern you have chosen for your plate. You can first draw it on paper or on a disposable paper plate of a similar diameter, and then transfer it to a plate. It is very easy to transfer the drawing onto a transparent glass plate. You can draw on the entire space of the plate, or only around the edges, leaving the middle free - then, if you wish, you can continue to use the plate for its intended purpose, and the food will not cover the drawing. Paint and food will not mix as the pattern will be on the bottom (outside) side of the plate. After you finish applying the outline, leave the plate to dry for a few hours until the outline has hardened.
Step 4
Color the plate with paints, being careful not to touch the dividing line of the contour. If this still happens, then at the end of the work, draw a new contour line strictly along the old one. Try to take a little paint on the brush so that it does not flow outside the outline. Mix paints with each other on a special palette if necessary. Layer the paint. Let the first coat dry before applying the next one. Do not apply more than three coats of paint, otherwise it will chip off when dry. Leave certain areas transparent, this will give your work more expressiveness. Make the background lighter in tone than the main picture. After finishing work, let the plate dry for 2-3 days.
