Crochet is quite varied. You can crochet anything: from clothes and jewelry for them, to decorative trims for various items such as toys, frames, potholders, napkins, tablecloths, pillows and much, much more. Try crocheting a small swan.
Instructions
Step 1
First, we will tie the head and neck, as the very light part.
Tie a chain of 17 chain stitches plus 1 to raise the row.
Step 2
With white thread, knit 4 rows with a single crochet, turn the product at the end of the row and start a new row with an air loop. The neck is ready.
Step 3
Tear off the white thread and attach the red one for the beak, knit 1 row with air loops plus four single crochets, the second row - two single crochets and sew the ends of the red rows so that you get a circular knitting, form a beak.
Step 4
Insert the wire and bring out the bend of the neck. Although without the wire, the neck will be tilted.
Step 5
Sew on the beady eyes with black thread and set your head aside for now.
Step 6
Start knitting the wings. Start knitting with a chain of 18 chain stitches, plus 1 chain stitch to lift the row. The wings need to be knit at the base of the columns of the previous row. That is, the pigtail should be located outside, and the wing will decrease in height and acquire relief.
Step 7
The next step is to knit the body of a swan. Knit the same way as the wings, but slightly larger. Also start knitting with a chain of 42 chain stitches plus one. The last row ends with a ring on the blank of the carcass, it will be the lower part of the bird's body, a kind of pedestal.
Step 8
Assemble the product. Sew the edges neatly. Sew the top partly. Place your neck in the remaining hole, adjust the length as you like, and stuff the body with padding polyester. Hide the ends of the threads inside the body, or bring them down to fix them on some product in the future. Next, we sew both wings. The swan is ready.
