DIY toys are more valuable than any other item - especially when it comes to detailed and beautiful models. Very often the layout looks unfinished without trees and vegetation. The question arises before its creator - how to make realistic models of different trees in order to place them inside the layout. Use natural materials for this - sticks, birch bark, pine needles, and so on. In this article, we will describe how to make several tree models with our own hands.
Instructions
Step 1
To glue a birch model, take a strip of paper and twist a flagellum out of it. Wrap a thin wire around it and bend its ends, giving them the shape of branches. Use green ivy or finely chopped green paper to make leaves.
Step 2
Spiral over the birch trunk with a narrow strip of birch bark, and paint the branches with white paint. After the paint has dried, grease the branches with glue and sprinkle with the prepared "foliage". Any deciduous tree can be made in this way.
Step 3
In order to make a model of a palm tree, prepare a long stick (30-35 cm), sharpening it at one end and making small transverse cuts. Remove the bark from the old log and use a knife to separate the inner fibrous layer from it.
Step 4
Cut or tear it into narrow strips 3-4 cm long. Take fresh, wide pine shavings and cut out patterns of six large leaves, five medium leaves and five small leaves.
Step 5
Paint all the leaves with green paint. Secure the smallest leaves with a brown thread at the top of the palm tree, and then begin to attach the remaining leaves to the trunk in circles, placing the largest in the lower tier.
Step 6
Place the thread in the prepared cuts in the trunk. Now wrap the stem with the prepared pieces of bark. Place the palm tree on a stand covered with glue and sprinkled with sand.
