In order to depict a deer, you can use the technique of drawing animals with the help of auxiliary geometric shapes, then highlight the characteristic features of this animal and paint in the appropriate colors.

Instructions
Step 1
Begin your drawing by constructing construction elements. Draw an oval located horizontally, at some distance from it draw another one of a smaller shape. Complete the sketch with two pairs of vertical lines to guide the fawn's legs.
Step 2
Draw the head of the deer. To do this, sharpen one edge of the small oval on three sides - on the sides and top. In this case, the frontal part must be left sufficiently convex. Select the hairless area at the end of the nose, and mark the diverging nostrils. Draw almond-shaped eyes on both sides of the head, with the inner corner pointing down towards the nose. Select the prominent brow ridges, and draw the eyelashes drooping down above the eyes. On the sides of the head, just above eye level, draw large diamond-shaped ears, they are directed at an angle of 30-45 degrees upward. Under the nose, outline a small, rounded lower jaw.
Step 3
Draw connecting lines from the oval, which is the body of the fawn, to the head, you will get the neck. Respect the proportions, your animal should turn out to be quite thin. To do this, emphasize the sunken belly, weak chest of the baby. Select several rows of specks on the fawn's back.

Outline a small ponytail.

Start drawing the legs. Make them long enough to be about the same size as your body. Highlight the joints, make the knees knotted. Finish the legs with hooves.
Step 6
Start coloring. Use lighter shades of ocher or hazelnut shell for the chest, abdomen and chin, for the back and upper legs - a rich brown, leave light spots. Paint the eyes with a dark coffee shade, highlight the area of the nose not covered with hair with black. Observe the direction of hair growth. On the muzzle, it goes from the tip of the nose to the forehead, on the back it is directed to the tail.
