The underfoot is something like house slippers, only even better. They are very warm, gentle, cozy and soft. The footprints symbolize home comfort. This is a good gift for loved ones, relatives or friends. So, we knit the heels.

It is necessary

  • - woolen threads (not very thick)
  • - 5 small knitting needles
  • - free time

Instructions

Step 1

Start with an even number of loops. This number of loops depends on what size the product is knitted, as well as on the thickness of the thread and on the technique with which you knit. We do a simple calculation. Our task is to divide the loops into 3 equal parts. Let's take 26 loops as a basis: divide 26 by three, we get 8, 6. We round down and get 8. This number of loops should be in the side details of the heel. The remaining number of loops falls on the central part. In our case, it turns out 8 (side), 10 (center) and 8 (second side).

Step 2

It is necessary that the number of center loops be even. If it turns out to be odd, then you just need to add one loop. Start the process on the other side by turning the knitting. Turn the product again and thus knit 8 rows. This will be the heel height. Make sure the last row is purl.

Step 3

Turn the work, knit 8 loops of the side part, then 9 loops of the center part, and knit the remaining 10th loop from the center together with the 1st loop of the second side part. We have 7 loops of the second side untied. Turn and knit the center, knit the last loop again, grabbing the 1st loop of the side part with it. Turn and then knit in the same way until all the loops of the sides are over, and 10 loops of the center remain …

Step 4

Divide these 10 loops into 2 knitting needles and add side loops to them, it turns out, 8 loops (1 from each row). Then take 2 more knitting needles and cast on 13 loops for each. This will end up with 52 stitches. Knit in a circle, just as you would for a sock. This will already be the length of the footprint, so you need to periodically try it on your foot until the little finger is closed. Only then do we begin to decrease the loops.

Step 5

Knit on 1st knitting needle except for the last two; knit the remaining 2 sts with the first loop of the next knitting needle. Do this with all the loops on each knitting needle, then work a row without decreasing the loops. And then through one row: row - subtract in four places and row - do not subtract.

Step 6

Knit in this way until there is 1 st loop on each needle. Knit them together and then knit the final chain, and then thread the thread on the wrong side, where and fasten. That's it, the product is ready. If you calculate everything correctly, and carefully follow the course of knitting, you will definitely get a beautiful product.
