If you bought a book that you plan to use to decorate your library, but are afraid to stain or tear the cover on the subway, take care of the cover in advance. To wrap a book, you don't have to spend money on non-sustainable plastic from a stationery store. It will be enough to find a paper bag from the supermarket and a couple of minutes of free time.
It is necessary
A book, a paper bag from a supermarket, or a roll of brown brown paper, scissors, scotch tape
Instructions
Step 1
Cut open the paper bag. Cut off the bottom so that you have one large sheet of paper. Spread the resulting sheet of paper on the table, open the book and place it in the center.
Step 2
Fold the top edge of the paper to the same height as the top of the book, then do the same for the bottom edge. Place the book on top of the paper.
Step 3
Take scissors and trim the left and right edges of the paper so that they protrude no more than 10-15 centimeters.
Step 4
Fold the right edge of the paper along the right edge of the book cover, and do the same for the left side.
Step 5
Take the tape and carefully glue the edges of the paper together so that you get pockets on the left and right sides. Be careful not to stick the book to the paper. By doing the same operation on both sides, you will have a removable paper cover.
Step 6
Once you are done with the technical part of the assignment, then you can do its decorative part and give your new cover a little personality. The simplest solution would be to color the cover with colored pens, felt-tip pens or pencils, use ready-made stickers or cut images from magazines.
