Step 1
Yo-yo is an ancient toy, known in Ancient Greece. Attached to a rope. In the store, a professional model costs a lot. But there are ways to make a cute yo-yoshka yourself! The first step is to find two empty soda cans. They will be the basis for the toy. Take scissors or a knife and carefully cut off the tops of the cans, backing from the edge by about a centimeter. Caution, sharp edges! Fold them inward, and to make them smooth, go over the surface with a file.
Step 2
Now we make the axis. Take a pencil, cut a piece from it about three centimeters. Now we insert a pencil into the hole made in advance, and on the other hand, where the drink used to splash, we fill it with liquid nails. The pencil should be inserted about one centimeter. It is important to make the toy heavy! Therefore, it is necessary to add something weighting to the solution with liquid nails, for example, metal shavings. Then do the same for the second jar. So, we got an axis and two disks.
Step 3
Now we attach a string to the axis. Everything is simple here. Choose not too thin, the length that suits you (choose by height). Attach it, make a loop at the free end so that there is something to hold on to. Wind the entire rope around the axle. The yo-yo is actually ready! Now you can take care of its beauty, for example, paint the base cans with indelible paint. You can show imagination. The same procedure can be simplified. Buy a regular doorknob, which is in two parts, attach the string. Play and relax!
