1. On paper for the base of the envelope (white for the printer or colored, dull color), make a pattern for the envelope. Please note that the length of the envelope (measure A) and the width of the envelope (measure B) must be respectively 1-1.5 cm larger than the length and width of the notes that you put in the envelope. The width of the large flap (measure D) should be equal to the width of the envelope (B), the width of the narrow flap (measure B), should be approximately two times less than segment C. The narrow flap for fastening the folded envelope should be at least 1 cm, but it should not be made more than 3 cm.
2. To trim the envelope, cut three rectangles of patterned paper for all three large flaps. The length and width of these rectangles should be approximately 3-5 mm less than the size of the envelope. On the pattern, these rectangles are indicated by thin gray lines.
3. Glue the patterned paper rectangles onto the envelope blank, then fold the envelope, apply glue to the side flaps, and glue it together.
4. Decorate the envelope with the appropriate lettering for the holiday. To do this, choose a beautiful font, type the inscription on the computer in a suitable color, print it on a color printer.
Complete the envelope decoration with a slit-edged strip of paper napkin or paper flowers, and tape up the envelope.
