Many fishing enthusiasts have a desire to make their own boat. This is not a simple matter, but real. Manufacturing will not require large expenses from you and will seem very exciting.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a drawing of the boat as a whole and its individual parts. Make templates according to the size of each part. Prepare tools for work and materials.
Step 2
Glue the plywood sheets together with epoxy glue to get the desired length. Cut out the details of the bottom and sides. Cut out the transom parts and glue them in the following order: the outer layer is plywood, then the fiberglass layer, then the oak board, again the fiberglass layer and the inner layer is plywood.
Step 3
Make the required number of frames. To do this, cut out all the parts, glue them and additionally fasten them with screws.
Step 4
Start assembling the case. Assemble the bottom, put the transom and sides. When assembling the sides, install the center frame. Begin installing the sides from the stern of the boat, not from the bow. Fasten the seams with twists and clamps. Remove the center frame and put in wooden slats to get the sides in the correct position. Next, coat the joints with a solution of epoxy, hardener and aerosil. This adhesive will provide incredible joint strength. Glue the seams with fiberglass.
Step 5
Make markings for the frames and install them. Be very careful not to squeeze the side of the boat. Coat the joints with the same adhesive solution.
Step 6
Install a mooring beam on the outside of the sides. To do this, the wooden block must be dissolved into 3 parts using a jigsaw. Drill the holes for the screws. Starting at the nose, attach the first layer of the batten to the epoxy and screws. After complete drying, unscrew the screws and, following the same principle, fix the second and third layers of the rail.
Step 7
Install 2 lockers in the stern and bow. Secure with screws. Treat all seams with glue.
Step 8
Sand and putty all surfaces of the boat. Glue the glass cloth to the tops of the boards, mooring beam and lockers with hardener. Smooth gently to completely remove air bubbles. Flip the boat over. Scrap and sand the sides and bottom. Using the same principle, cover the bottom with fiberglass.
Step 9
Start installing redans. Make them from the same block of wood from which you made the fender. It is necessary to give the slats a triangular cross-section.
Prime and paint the boat. The boat is ready to launch.
