It's nice to watch people who skate somewhere in the park and at the same time do the wonders of acrobatics with their board. There are a great many tricks in skateboarding, but one of them can literally be called the basis of skateboarding. It is from this trick that they learn the skill of skating on a skateboard. It's about Ollie.
Instructions
Step 1
Learning this trick is not easy, but if you do it right and practice hard, you can master the ollie quickly enough. You can put your feet on the board as it is convenient for you. Therefore, you can not listen to those who advise you on a certain stance.
Step 2
Speed up a little. Place your leading foot in the middle of the deck or slightly closer to the front bolts. The jogging leg (the one with which you involuntarily push off the ground while riding the skateboard) should stand on the tail (this is the tail of the board). Bend your knees, focus, and get ready to jump.
Step 3
Next comes the so-called "click". This is the main part of an ollie trick and can be described as a sharp kick off the tail of the board with the jogging foot. Immediately after this pressure, you need to push off with the board from the surface and make a kind of jump on one leg. You will need to push off with a jogging foot, and with your leading foot extend the nose of the skate rushing up first, and then everything else. And remember: the ollie will be the higher, the stronger and sharper you push off the ground.
Step 4
Now is the time to make the hood. At the moment of tearing off the tail deck from the surface, you need to start pulling the board after you. Along with the click, this trick element is also very important. It can be imagined as the movement of the foot of the leading leg, curved inward along the skin of the skate up and forward. With this movement, the board just rises above the ground.
Step 5
Flight and landing. There are also a couple of nuances here. Once you have learned to pull the skate, master the landing. Better to put your feet in the area of the bolts. This will certainly not break your board (and it has happened). Keep your center of gravity above the center of the board when flying. Do not try to bend forward or backward, otherwise the board will simply pop out from under your feet.
