Andrey Vladimirovich Khlyvnyuk is a Ukrainian musician, vocalist and lyricist of the Boombox group. Produced by singer Nadine. He became best known to the Russian public due to the popular song "Vakhteram" in 2007. He became a laureate of the Yuna Music Awards in 2012 and 2013 in the Best Word Writer nomination.

Was born on the last day of 1979, in the city of Cherkassy (Ukraine). As a child, he attended music school, learned to play the accordion, and also studied vocals. In addition, already in primary school, he began to compose his own poems and music. It worked out by itself. Drawing was another hobby of the musician.

After school he entered the First City Gymnasium, where he studied design. Then he studied at the university, where he became one of the members of the musical ensemble "Mandarin Paradise". In 2001, the musicians managed to win at the Perlini Sezona festival, after which Andrei decided to leave his studies and move to Kiev. He believed that there were many more opportunities in the capital for the development of his musical career. Already in Kiev, Khlyvnyuk became interested in jazz and swing, as well as performing in clubs with the Acoustic Swing Band.

Career and creativity

After a while, Andrey and the members of three groups (Acoustic Swing Band, Dust Mix and Tartak) form a new group, Grafit, where Khlyvnyuk became the vocalist.

In 2004, the funky groove collective "Boombox" was formed. It was organized by Andrey Khlyvnyuk and the guitarist of the Tartak group Andrey "Mukha" Samoilo. Just a few years later, this group became famous both in Ukraine and in Russia.

In the spring of 2005, the first album "Melomania" was released. And already in 2006 the musicians released their second album "Family Business". In Ukraine, it became gold, sales exceeded more than 100 thousand copies.

In 2007, Andrei decided to try himself as a producer. Helped in the creation of the album of the singer Nadine. In 2007 he wrote and performed the song “I don’t know” with her. Then he released a video for the same song. As a result, this duo won the “Most Unexpected Project of the Year” award according to the E-motion portal.

In the summer of the same year, the air of Russian radio stations blew up the hit "Vakhteram". In the fall, the song "ta4to" hit the hit parade of Moscow radio stations.

In 2008, the Boombox group signed a contract with the Monolit firm to publish the Melomania and Family Business albums in Russia. Their release took place on July 10 of the same year.

In the summer of 2009, Andrei Khlyvnyuk, Evgeny Koshevoy and Potap worked on the voice acting of the French action movie with elements of parkour “13th District: Ultimatum”. Andrei himself became the voice of the French policeman Damien.

Then Khlyvnyuk and his group released 3 albums. In 2009, a joint album was recorded with DJ Tonique. On June 24, 2010 the All Inclusive album was released. At the end of 2011, the album "Seredniy Vіk" was released.

Personal life

In the summer of 2010, Andrei Khlyvnyuk married Anna Kopylova, who is the daughter of Vadim Kopylov. At that time, Vadim Kopylov was the Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine. Anna herself graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Kiev Shevchenko University. Works in the publication "Basis".

The couple have two children: son Ivan (2010) and daughter Alexandra (2013). Their whole family lives in Kiev.
