Michelangelo Loconte's career began at school, when he participated in theatrical performances. However, the worldwide fame of the talented singer was brought by the performance of the leading role in the rock opera "Mozart". The image of the genius composer, whom his contemporaries did not accept for a long time, turned out to be very close and understandable to the young Italian singer.
The talented and very charismatic Italian singer Mikelangelo Loconte is still quite young, but he has already managed to prove himself as an actor, composer and musician. Despite such an abundance of creative interests, fame came to him only in 2009, at the age of 36. Then he played the main role of Mozart in the rock opera of the same name. The beginning of the creative path
The young genius was born on December 5, 1973 in the family of teachers Ripalta and Jeremiah Lokonte. In addition to him, the family still had an older sister, and in 1982 a younger brother, Pietro, was born.
The talented young man studied at a specialized school, where he tried to understand what kind of creativity attracted him the most. He has participated extensively in school theater productions and several television shows.
After graduating from school in his hometown of Cerignole, Michelangelo decided to continue his education, receiving a bachelor's degree in design, and later a master of arts.
Work in Italy
While continuing his studies, Michelangero met the famous Italian singer Rita Pavone, who became his mentor. Thanks to this union, the young talent was able to become a winner at the holiday of the Unknowns, where young talented musicians try their hand. This opened up new horizons in his career: he performed with such popular bands as “Art Decade” and “Unix”.
In the same years, Michelangelo successfully tried himself in the composer's lineage, writing several tracks for Maurizio Piccoli and Loredana Berte, performing under the pseudonym Luna.
Career in France
In 1999, the already famous singer moved to Belgium, to the city of Liege, and only then to France. In the interviews that he gave, becoming famous, the artist admitted that it was a very difficult time: he was paid little and there was not always a roof over his head.
The first success in France came after playing one of the leading roles in the musical "New Nomads". Michelangelo did not yet know French, but the audience did not know about it: the singer memorized all the texts using the method of phonetic writing.
Hard work and talent helped him become truly famous. After the successful premiere of the rock opera Mozart, Michelangelo Loconte received the prestigious Prix Pouilles 2009 prize. The opera has been at its peak for several years; Michelangelo's last appearance in the role of the famous composer was in 2011 in Paris. And the disc, released in the same year, quickly became a diamond.
Worldwide fame does not prevent the talented singer from taking part in numerous charity concerts: "Everybody sings against cancer", "Parents' House" and "Foot Concert".
Despite his beautiful appearance and immense popularity, little is known about the singer's personal life. Perhaps he does not have enough time for this, because Michelangelo Loconte is preparing to release his first solo album.
