The badger is a large animal of the weasel family, reaching twenty-five kilograms in weight. It is also a cute animal with a funny face and wide stripes along it. It is easy to draw, because it is easily recognizable.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - colour pencils;
- - a simple pencil;
- - eraser.
Instructions
Step 1
Think about how you want to portray the badger, in what position and what he will do in your drawing. To do this, remember what he is like, how he walks slowly and heavily with his head down to the ground. Badgers swim well, but drawing it in the process of this lesson will be more difficult. Drawing an animal in the process of hunting is also not the easiest option. It is better to choose calm, static poses.
Step 2
Make small, barely visible lines in pencil. Mark for yourself where the badger's head will be, and where the tail will be, make a rough outline of where its body and legs will be. Make sure the proportions are observed.
Step 3
Start drawing the badger from the head. It is small, elongated in this beast. Draw rounded ears on the head. Draw the nose, eyes and mouth. First draw with light strokes, then draw well-drawn lines a little thicker. Remove unsuccessful lines with an eraser. Work with a simple pencil for now. You will color the badger when you draw it completely.
Step 4
Move on to the body of the badger. Draw the neck and body of a large wedge-shaped animal extending from the head. The badger is a fairly well-fed animal, as it hunts, stores and accumulates fat for the winter.
Step 5
Draw short, massive legs with long claws, which the badger needs to dig the ground and hunt beetles, mice, and lizards. Draw a short tail in the picture.
Step 6
Add details such as long, rough fur. Don't forget to draw stripes on the face.
Step 7
Color the animal. For the back and sides, choose a light gray color, which should darken closer to the belly. The head of the badger is white, with a characteristic wide black stripe on each side.
Step 8
Add a background to the picture. Let it be a forest landscape, because badgers are forest dwellers. You can draw an animal near its burrow, because this animal is very attached to its home, never leaves it for a long time, hunts nearby and can live in the same hole for fifteen years of its life.
