A hedgehog with soft thorns, knitted with caring hands from the remains of yarn, will become your baby's favorite toy. And even novice needlewomen can knit it.
It is necessary
- - gray twisted yarn;
- - Grass yarn of gray or silver color;
- - hook number 2, 5;
- - 2 black beads.
Instructions
Step 1
Start knitting a hedgehog from the nose. Make a chain of 2 air loops, in the second loop knit 7 single crochet. Next, knit in a circle in the shape of a cone, knitting two stitches in every second loop of the previous row, then after two (you should end up with 24 stitches).
Step 2
Knit the needles on the hedgehog's head with Grass yarn. Work 3 circles straight, then start decreasing in reverse order. First, knit all stitches with a single crochet every 2 stitches, in the next row every 1 st. Knit in this way until one loop remains.
Step 3
Now start tying the hedgehog's tummy with a gray thread. Knit 7 stitches in the previous row and knit 6 rows back and forth. knit the next 4 rows with "Grass". Fold the piece in half and crochet both pieces together.
Step 4
Knit the legs with a twisted thread of the main color. Make a chain of 4 chain stitches and close them into a ring. Knit 8 single crochet into the center of the ring and knit 3 rows in a circle without adding. Tie 4 similar pieces and sew the legs to the body.
Step 5
The hedgehog's nose can be embroidered with black thread or crocheted. Make a chain of 4 chain stitches and close them into a ring. Work 7 single crochet into the center of the ring and knit 1 row straight in a circle. In the next row, knit the stitches together. Sew the nose onto the hedgehog's face. Make eyes out of beads, embroider the mouth.
Step 6
This hedgehog will turn out to be small, about 6 cm in height. If you want the toy to be larger, increase the number of air loops for the set and the number of rows proportionally.
Step 7
To make the hedgehog's legs move, take a piece of wire, pierce the body. Bend the ends of the wire and insert into the paws.
Step 8
Tie small apple balls using red or yellow yarn. To do this, tie beads or synthetic winterizer circles with columns. Sew the apples on the back of the hedgehog.
