It is necessary

  • - butterfly pattern;
  • - fabric in four colors;
  • - tape, decorative cord;
  • - threads;
  • - scissors;
  • - needles;
  • - pins;
  • - synthetic winterizer;

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare patterns. Having laid out the patterns on the fabric, fasten them with pins and cut out: the upper large wing, the wrong side of the wing (2 parts), the face (2 parts), the lower small wings, the little body (2 parts), the pocket (2 parts).

Please note that you need to cut out 2 types of small wings. For each wing, use 2 types of fabric - the face and the wrong side of the wing.

Step 2

Fold the wings of the butterfly with the right side inward, sew. Trim the seam allowances with zigzag scissors so that after turning onto the face, the seam does not "pull". If there are no zigzag scissors, you can just carefully make small notches on the fabric with ordinary scissors without damaging the stitching.

Sew the little body and pocket. Iron all details.

Fill each wing with a thin layer of padding polyester, make a decorative stitch on the front side of the product.

Step 3

Having turned the butterfly body inside out, lightly fill it with filler, focusing on the ends of the "carcass". Put quite a bit under the padding polyester pocket, just to add volume. Fill the pocket in the body, sweep the outer edges.

Step 4

Sew the wings to the hole of the pocket, process the top with lace (braid), forming a drawstring. Insert the cord into the drawstring.
