Step 1
You can draw flowers in different ways. Children, for example, do not think how to draw. They just paint. Most often, from memory, bringing your imagination into the drawing.
The simplest version of a flower pattern is a round center and round or semicircular petals surrounding it with a corolla. Such flowers look good on drawings made in a fairy-tale shape. For example, amusing little animals playing musical instruments walk along a meadow covered with such flowers. Here, the main attention is paid just to the drawing of animals and musical instruments, and flowers play only a decorative role.
Step 2
A more serious approach is copying. A photograph or a postcard with flowers, as well as the album sheet on which it is supposed to draw, are lined into squares of the same area. The scale can be kept the same, or it can be reduced or increased at your discretion.
Step 3
Then carefully transfer the contents of each cell of the original to the corresponding cell on the album sheet.
Step 4
Then it remains only to erase the auxiliary lines and color the drawing. The main focus here is on color accents: the petals located closer to us have a brighter and more saturated color, in contrast to the distant ones. Those, in turn, look paler and lighter.
Step 5
In general, learning to draw is best from life. It is the same with flowers. The drawing begins by indicating the shape of the flower. All flowers are based on such geometric shapes as a circle in a two-dimensional image, a sphere or hemisphere in a three-dimensional image (chrysanthemums, dandelions, roses), a triangle or cone (for flower buds), a rectangle or cylinder (tulips, bells).
Step 6
Then the desired flower is depicted in a form suitable for the idea. Pay attention to how the petals are attached to the middle.
For example, in a rose, the petals seem to wrap around each other, expanding and turning towards the edges. The central petal looks like a tightly rolled tube. In chamomile, the petals are arranged in two tiers, tightly to each other, each petal with one edge goes on the other.
Step 7
Draw the sketch with a very hard pencil, without pressure. This will make it easier to erase the strokes you don't like with the eraser, without leaving dirty streaks on the paper.
Step 8
If you are satisfied with the result, clearly trace the completed contour with a soft pencil.
Step 9
It remains only to apply shading with pencils of different hardness, depending on the angle of the incident light, to give the drawing volume and completeness.

Drawing involves daily practice. The more time you spend on drawing, the better and livelier your drawings will become. Train, and you will definitely succeed.
