Fancy yarns made of thread and large or small pompoms are the perfect solution for beginner knitters. It is enough to learn how to knit simple front loops with knitting needles, to have basic crochet skills, and you can start creating an interesting textured canvas. Neither complex patterns of jacquard or embossed patterns, nor additional decorative elements are needed here. Rows of bumps-pom-poms are in themselves a sufficient decoration for knitted clothes.
It is necessary
- - two skeins of yarn with pom-poms;
- - straight knitting needles;
- - two plastic bags or containers for jacquard knitting;
- - hook.
Instructions
Step 1
Try knitting a scarf or rectangular pom-pom shawl on straight knitting needles for a good workout option. The thing will turn out to be quite voluminous and loose, and will look original. Usually fancy yarns have a high proportion of soft synthetic fibers (or are made up entirely of them), and the product turns out to be pleasant to wear.
Step 2
Cast on the loops, grabbing the threads (broaches) stretched between the pompoms with knitting needles. Start knitting the fabric with the front loops, forming a garter stitch. At the same time, knit one loop from each broach.
Step 3
Determine the front side of the product, and at the end of each row, gently pull the pom-poms onto it. At the same time, from the top of your clothes, you will have beautiful, successive rows of decorative bulges, and from the wrong side between them there will be rows of purl loops.
Step 4
Try other options for knitting with pom pom yarn. Type 2-3 loops from each gap between the lumps - this way you will get a denser fabric. If you place decorative elements alternately on the front, then on the seamy side of knitting, then the product will come out visually more voluminous.
Step 5
You can knit a simple scarf with pom-poms and crochet. To do this, you will have to work simultaneously with two threads from different balls. Fold them in bags or special jacquard knitting containers so that the working threads do not get tangled.
Step 6
Connect the ponytails of the outermost threads and tie them in a knot. Then make a single chain loop, grabbing both threads with the crochet bar. Skip 2-3 pom-poms and make a couple of air loops from the next space between the bulges.
Step 7
Continue to knit the product according to the pattern: leave 2-3 pompons, knit 2 loops from the broach, etc. Work until the scarf is the desired length. Pull the last loop and break the thread.
