Maxim Galkin is a Russian pop artist, comedian and parodist, actor, showman and TV presenter. He is married to Alla Pugacheva, a star Soviet and Russian singer, People's Artist of the USSR. The marriage was registered on December 23, 2011. The wedding took place a day later - December 24, 2011.
According to the star couple, the relationship between Alla and Maxim began back in 2001. They met at the Slavianski Bazaar festival this summer. But feelings arose only in October 2001. Philip Kirkorov introduced them to each other.
In 2005, Alla divorced her husband Philip Kirkorov, and the lovers begin to live together, the so-called "civil marriage". And only in 2011, after the 10th anniversary of their acquaintance, they decided to officially register their relationship in the capital's Kutuzovsky registry office and play a wedding. The visit to the Wedding House was modest, in the presence of several witnesses. At that time, Maxim was 35 years old, and Alla Pugacheva was 62.
Wedding of Maxim Galkin and Alla Pugacheva
The wedding took place in one of the capital's restaurants. Only relatives and close friends received invitations to the solemn event. Despite the couple's efforts to keep the wedding venue secret from reporters, dozens of journalists gathered in front of the restaurant by the time the wedding began.
The first of those invited to arrive was a family friend Nikolai Baskov, who was the first to officially announce the registration of the newlyweds the day before. As a wedding venue, Maxim chose the Italian restaurant Olivetta, serving his favorite Mediterranean cuisine.
On the tables were salmon carpaccio with mozzarella, goat cheese panna cotta and many other dishes. The wedding cake was prepared by the famous pastry chef Alexander Seleznyov, who built a magnificent multi-tiered Baroque and Rococo creation with figures of the bride and groom on top. According to the pastry chef, the cake was ordered for him just a couple of days before the wedding, so he dropped everything and started sketching the future masterpiece. The feast was unpretentious, but prepared with great taste.
The preparation time for the wedding took no more than 10 days. According to the guests, there was no royal pathos in this event, no desire to surprise, outshine or surpass someone. The guests witnessed a cozy family holiday rather than a luxurious and magnificent celebration.
As Galkin himself later recalled in one of his interviews, the preparation for the wedding was quite spontaneous. At first, the young did not want any celebration at all. But then they decided to celebrate the event in a close circle of the closest people.
Outsiders were not allowed to the ceremony: a reinforced guard post was on duty at the door, the windows were covered with foil from the inside. Only an arch of flowers erected over the entrance to the restaurant hinted that an important event would take place behind its doors.
The most unexpected guest for all was Alla's ex-husband Philip Kirkorov. The fact is that, according to the media, on the eve of the holiday he was vacationing in Miami and did not receive an invitation to the wedding.
Also among the guests were seen Vladimir Vinokur with his wife Tamara and daughter Anastasia, Galina Volchek, Valentin Yudashkin with his wife Marina, Alla's daughter Christina Orbakaite with her husband and children, the groom's brother Dmitry Galkin with his wife Natalia.
The beginning of a legal life together
Galkin and Pugacheva drove up to the restaurant at 6 pm. After posing a little in front of the lenses of photo and video cameras, boasting wedding rings, the young went to the table. On this day, Maxim was in a black suit, and Alla was in a short snow-white dress with sparkling stones and a bouquet of lilies of the valley in her hands. The dress, as Pugacheva later said, was sewn by designer Alisher literally overnight.
The celebration began, according to tradition, with rose petals and a wedding loaf presented by Alina Rödel. Alla Borisovna broke off a very small piece of it, and Maxim - a bigger one. The wedding bouquet went to the girlfriend of Nikita Presnyakov, Aida.
Nikolai Baskov became the master of ceremonies at the wedding.
Galkin became the fifth husband of the prima donna. Before him, she was married to circus performer Mykolas Orbakas, film director Alexander Stefanovich, film producer Yevgeny Boldin and pop singer Philip Kirkorov. Many of the preparations were undertaken by the named sister Alla Pugacheva, Alina Rodel.
The next important date in the life of the newlyweds was the birth of their common children. On September 18, 2013, twins Lisa and Harry were born from a surrogate mother.
On November 18, 2017, after six years of married life, Alla and Maxim got married in a church near Moscow.
