Taking pictures of the sun correctly is a whole science. You can try to start mastering it by photographing the sun at sunset. But in order to capture the sunset correctly, you need to go beyond the usual view of the world around you, otherwise your pictures will not differ much from other photographs. A few tips will help you find your creative vein.
Instructions
Step 1
Try to look wider. Surely you wanted to take your most powerful lens with you to get closer to the setting sun. Try doing the exact opposite - take something simpler.
Step 2
Try to make your photos more colorful. Sunsets are often monotonous despite their magnificence. Try to cross-process your slide film.
Step 3
A little patience. If you went to shoot the sunset with a group of photographers, then as soon as the sun begins to set, you will hear the sound of the shutters. It is during this time that colors are most noticeable to our eyes. But wait a little - about fifteen minutes, and you will shoot a completely different picture from the tripod. Your eyes will no longer be able to distinguish colors, unlike a camera.
Step 4
Pay attention to the sky after sunset. Typically, it turns purple and it looks just divine.
Step 5
Usually, seeing a sunset, a person looks only at the sun and photographs only it. However, take a moment to look away from the lens and look around. Perhaps the rays of the sun create at this moment an unusual illumination of objects behind you.
Step 6
Try removing the color. Sometimes by removing all the colors, you can take the most unexpected pictures.
