Step 1
When teaching marksmanship, it is necessary to practice shooting positions, aiming skills, pressing the trigger, bringing the weapon to alert and setting the sight.
Step 2
You can start training at home. Do the simplest physical exercises to develop hand firmness and strength. Use weights, dumbbells, resistance bands, etc. for this. It is imperative that your workouts are daily and intense enough.
Step 3
Begin direct training in rifle shooting by developing a skill such as aiming. Make a shot according to the following scheme: hold your breath, align the lower edge of the target with the aiming bar (while the front sight should be exactly in the middle of the slot) and gently press the trigger. Please note that by the time the aiming bar and front sight are aligned, the idle stroke of the trigger must have already been passed and the shot must be fired with a barely noticeable movement of the finger.
Step 4
Each weapon has its own characteristics, so before you start shooting, be sure to test the idle of the trigger and practice this movement.
Step 5
Practice a shooting position that provides the most stability while observing the target. In addition, it is necessary to learn how to relax the muscles so that their excessive tension does not cause tremors, which will be transmitted to the weapon. Shooting in any direction and at any angle can be practiced with a small-bore rifle in a shooting range, occupying different positions relative to the target.
Step 6
Bullet shooting requires the highest accuracy. For such training, use special installations in which the target, made in the form of an animal, moves across the firing line. Begin to perform the exercises for accurate hitting the target at a low target speed, gradually bringing it up to the speed corresponding to the real one.
