A digital camera is the perfect solution if your active and interesting life needs to capture moments. The fact is that if you learn how to use a digital camera correctly, then the quality of the images will be able to compete even with the results of a professional DSLR.
Instructions
Step 1
All cameras have an “auto” mode that evens out both light and color balance, applies the required shutter speed and turns on the flash if necessary. In general, no hassle. But do you want to limit yourself to just one button, not letting your fantasies and creativity fly? If not, then the first step is to forget once and for all about the "auto" button on your camera, or use it very rarely.
Step 2
Read the instructions for your device. The information written in it may be helpful. For example, any digital camera has several modes available that work on a "semi-automatic". Usually these are the modes: "portrait", "sports", "landscape", "night". Take a good look at how best to use them.
Step 3
Get some digital photography books. They contain a lot of useful tips from professional craftsmen. From them you will learn how to correctly set the aperture and shutter speed, how to align the white balance, how to work with light correctly.
Step 4
The first mode, unlike the "semi-automatic", which gives a little freedom, is "software", it is denoted by the letter P. With it, you can change, for example, ISO (sensitivity) - a parameter that helps you take pictures without much loss of quality in low-light places.
Step 5
The most promising mode is M (Manual), which allows for maximum control over the result. Learn to use it. You will have to experiment a lot before you get a feel for your camera. Using manual mode, you can set the desired aperture, shutter speed, ISO and more.
Step 6
Try not to just photograph everything beautiful that comes your way. The meaning of photography is in its idea. What do you want to show with this or that picture? By answering this question to yourself, it will be easier for you to compose the compositional basis of photography, to understand from which angle it is best to shoot.
